About the event

Transcendent experiences and dream-like states of consciousness are known byproducts of ingesting entheogenic substances. Lucid dreaming, in particular, parallels entheogenic vision and possesses unique features that lend themselves well to the path of spiritual exploration.

On Friday, January 25th from 7-9pm, we will be meeting at the Taoist Sanctuary for a co-Meetup with the local Entheogenic Integration group, led by Paul, who is a consciousness explorer and oneironaut dedicated to self-healing practices and teachings (http://meetu.ps/c/3Fvks/63M3H/a). Kristen—host of the San Diego Lucid Dreaming Meetups—and Paul will combine efforts to lead a discussion about how visionary medicine practices can more fully assist us in finding spiritual fulfillment via utilizing dreamwork and lucid dreaming.

In addition to casual group sharing, Kristen will briefly present on how to optimize the “set and setting” for lucid dreaming. These include simple tools for successful lucid dream induction, and her research on a natural substance that was shown to substantially enhance access to the lucid dream state when combined with training in mental set.

This group in no way promotes illicit activity. The purpose of this meet up to provide a safe space for connecting with others about non-ordinary and spiritual states of consciousness. All who have or haven’t had lucid dreams or entheogenic experiences are welcome to participate.

The donation is based on how many show up to the meeting. We’ll divide $50 (space rental fee) among the attendees present to cover the cost (usually about $5 per person).

RSVP in our Meetup group.
